CERTIFICATE #domainname# WILL EXPIRE ON 12.29.2009
PLEASE: READ THIS MESSAGE, YOU WILL AVOID PROBLEMS
WITH THE INSTALLATION OF YOUR SERVER CERTIFICATE AFTER 29 DECEMBER 2009.
Dear #nombre#.
In order to optimize our adaptation towards new technologies, ipsCA informs you
that we already have a new CA, including technological and client oriented
services that were not present in the CA we have been using for the past 11
years and which will expire on 29 December 2009. This new CA will expire in
2029 and from ipsCA, we want to let you know that although there is information
on the Internet about this process, the renewal of CA certificates is a common
procedure, and mandatory for all CAs, based on the need to adapt to changing
technology over time.
ipsCA
renews the CA with the new standards and key lengths, in order to fulfill those
security requirements needed to preserve security on the Internet and thus
carry out the conditions of software publishers such as Microsoft and Mozilla,
among others.
You will be
able to benefit from the advantages of this new CA totally free and the
inconvenience of having to renew your certificate,
ipsCA will offer you an extra free month of its services. For this, you will
have to request the renewal of your certificate following the usual the
renovation steps.
In addition,
from last summer, we have renewed the Webtrust audit,
that can be accessed through the following link: https://cert.webtrust.org/ViewSeal?id=933
We have
adapted the process to reissue your certificate in order to minimize any
inconvenience caused. Since your server is Apache, to renew your certificate,
there are two possible options:
To obtain
your certificate in one step by reusing the same CSR file applied in the last
request. Please click on the next link and follow the instructions:
http://certs.ipsca.com/srvc/RenewApache.asp?reload=#ticketnumber#
To obtain
your certificate by generating the CSR file. Please click on the next link and
follow the instructions:
