All Certificates are chained to the IPS Servidores CA Certificate, thus authentic certificates recognized by more than 90% of todays browsers.

Many Domain Registrars offer SSL Server Certificates from Certification Authorities, like Verisign, Thawte, Equifax or GeoTrust. But in many cases this mean to work with a competing Registrar, Verisign, as Thawte is a Verisign company, and Equifax and Geotrust Certificates are signed by Thawte.

ipsCA offers a different scheme, independent from Verisign and lowering the barrier of entry for many companies doing business online.

ipsCA is a subsidiary of IPS, whose root certificate (IPS SERVIDORES) is present in Microsoft products since 1999, and other internet products from other vendors. Our root certificate was incorporated in Internet Explorer 5.01 and is now present in more than 90% of todays browsers. Microsoft bundles our root in IE, W2000,XP,WME AND NT4 SP6.0.

ipsCA signing Certificate is signed by IPS SERVIDORES and that makes our server certificates recognized by more than 90 % of today desktops.

For older browsers our certificates are supported but not embedded, the same happens for any version of Netscape Browsers.

Any way, given the last statistics on browsers use, the amount of users with netscape browsers is near the 4% and sadly going down every month.

In the server side you can install our server certificates in any web server or application that support standard SSL X.509 Certificates.
