In order to optimize our adaptation towards new technologies, ipsCA informs you that we already have 2 new CAs, including technological and client oriented services that were not present in the CA that we have been using for the past 11 years which will expire on the 30th December 2009. These new CAs will expire in 2029.
ipsCA renews the CA with the new standards and key lengths, in order to fulfill those security requirements needed to preserve security on the Internet and thus carry out the conditions of the main software publishers such as Microsoft.
Lastly, we inform you that Microsoft distributes our new root CA as trusted certification authority from November (press here to access more information about the update procedure of Internet Explorer). We are in conversations with other browser companies to be included as well. As soon as we have any further information we will communicate it to our customers.
